Sports Medicine Acupuncture

From Andrew Castellanos, L.Ac, CST, clinic owner and on-call acupuncturist for the San Francisco Ballet.

My specific field of expertise is sports medicine acupuncture. I work with athletes and active people in and around San Francisco to relieve pain, heal injuries, calm inflammation, and more. The healing techniques I use include a combination of acupuncture to hone in on motor points and massage to deeply relax the body.

I work closely with the San Francisco Ballet as their on-call acupuncturist, and I've worked with many other professional athletes to keep them strong and healthy for their careers. But I also work with "regular people" who are simply active, busy and athletic. I treat issues such as back pain, sciatica, joint pain (knees, hips, ankles, elbows), injuries like sprains and strains, rotator cuff injuries, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, disc issues, tennis elbow… the list goes on and on.

Bottom line: if you are experiencing issues with the mobility of your physical body, or if you are in pain or feeling physically affected by stress, book an appointment with me so we can get to the bottom of it together.
