Terms of Use

Effective date: October 1, 2026

These terms apply to your use of acuforathletics.com, the website of Acupuncture for Athletics ("we", "us"). By using this site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Information only, not medical advice

The content on this site, including articles, treatment descriptions and blog posts, is general information about acupuncture and related therapies. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for an evaluation by a licensed health care provider. Always talk to a qualified provider about your own health, and never ignore professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here.

Using this site, or contacting us through it, does not create a provider-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you are seen by one of our licensed practitioners.

Results vary

Every patient is different. Reviews, testimonials and examples on this site describe individual experiences. They are not a promise or guarantee that you will get the same results.

Appointments, cancellations and payment

Online booking and the patient portal are provided by CharmHealth, and your use of them is also subject to CharmHealth's terms. Our prices, payment options and cancellation policy are shown on our booking page and may change.

24-hour cancellation policy: if you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment and the slot can't be filled, your card will be charged a cancellation fee.

We don't bill insurance, but we can give you a superbill to submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We can't guarantee that your insurer will reimburse you.

Gift cards and store purchases

Gift cards are sold through Square, and products through our online store at aforathletics.shop. Those purchases are subject to the terms and policies shown at the time of purchase.

Using this site

You agree not to misuse the site, including by trying to gain unauthorized access, disrupting it, scraping it in bulk, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
